Q: What does 3T in 3T-studios stand for?
A: 3T stands for Table Top Terra-formers.
Q: I want some of your terrain! How can I get some?
A: You can see our current eBay auctions from the above menu, and for more information on having a custom piece commissioned, check out or commission policies section.
Q: How much will a commission cost me?
A: It depends on what you would like made. Contact us and let us know what you are looking for, and we can provide an approximate price quote. All commissions start at a minimum value of $100.00 and go up from there after we calculate time and materials involved
Q: What if I want something reeeeealy simple? I can even paint it myself!
A: Sorry, we will not compromise on quality to discount the price!
Q: I want a commission, but I’m not sure exactly what I want!
A: That’s fine, you can give us artistic license to come with something ourselves if you let us know at least the approximate size and theme of the piece you have in mind. We include any necessary design and engineering work into our quote, and will work with our clients to ensure they are happy with the end result.
Q: How long will it take to complete my commission?
A: Again, it depends on the complexity of work and time frames can vary greatly, and since every project is different, we may run into unforseen challenges as we work on your project. We also have a queue of other clients which may effect how long before we can even start work on your piece. This queue changes size all the time, so we advise clients to secure their place in line as soon possible.
Q: How do you pack and ship a model once completed?
A: Very securely. We also insure our packages and provide tracking information.
Q: Are your models made from kits?
A: No they are not. Some parts are resin cast but they are not part of a kit.
A: No, not at the moment.
A: We can make you something similar, but not identical, and we would have to treat it like a commission piece and charge accordingly.
Q: Are you affiliated with Games Workshop or any other gaming companies?
A: No! Our pieces are intended to be used with just about any tabletop game. Certain figures and display models we use are only used as reference for scale.
Q: So is it appropriate to ask you guys how to make stuff?
A: Sure, We don’t mind! We love getting questions. But will we answer them? Doesn’t hurt to try!
A: We require healthy, child-bearing hips and the ability to work long hours with your hands. Send a pic.
Q: Do you make anything else other than terrain?
A: Yes we do. We are known to go wacky at times and veer from terrain. We have taken projects to make accessories and props.
Q: Can we use pictures from your site?
A: Yes, as long as you don’t use our images for evil. Also please don’t leech from our site.
Q: Do you really use child labor?
A: Mnnn. We have to consult our lawyers before we answer that.
